Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment with 48 guaranteed hours per week, overtime after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• On-call requirements with possibility of low census and call back (minimum 2 hours)
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• 3 years nursing experience required with 1 travel assignment mandatory
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must take EKG exam during compliance
• Work in 8-bed observation unit with 2 RNs per shift maintaining 1:4 patient ratio
• Care for patients with anemia, cellulitis, COPD, CHF, dehydration, pre-op, urology and GI conditions
• Manage various drips including cardiac Cardizem, Nitro, Insulin, and Heparin
• Handle high volume of admissions and discharges with average stays up to 48 hours
• Background in observation units or step-down MS/Tele units preferred
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips required
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
