Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - OR

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday various day shifts with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• Must be outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Work in 21 operating rooms covering all specialties with 4-5 rooms assigned per day
• On-call requirements: 1 night per week, 1 weekend per month, 1 back-up per week with 30-minute response time
• Weekend and holiday rotation every 3rd-4th weekend
• Vehicle required due to 30-minute response time requirement
• Minimum 3+ years OR experience with anesthesia experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Required certifications: AHA or ARC BLS, ACLS, WI RN License or compact RN
• Epic charting system experience required
• Cell Saver and Belmont equipment experience required
• Strong OR/CVOR circulating experience with conscious sedation experience preferred
• Assist with intubations, fiber optic scopes, sterile techniques with central lines
• Assist anesthesiologist with arterial lines, central lines, lumbar drains, Swan Ganz catheters
• Start IVs, draw labs, set up medication pumps, run Belmont, Cell Saver, and Level I
• Support anesthesia team during heart surgeries, traumas, elective surgeries, and general surgeries
• 2-week orientation process with additional anesthesia skills training as needed
• Scrub colors provided
• Associate degree or certificate required
