Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 48 guaranteed hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• 13-week assignment with clinical interview services required
• Must live outside 50-mile radius from facility
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, including IMC and CTU units
• Patient ratio 1:4 in 8-bed observation unit
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• Can be placed on low census and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS required, NIHSS highly preferred
• Must take EKG exam during compliance
• Minimum 3 years experience with 1 travel assignment required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Care for observation patients including anemia, cellulitis, COPD, dehydration, pre and post-op urology and GI patients
• Manage cardiac drips including Cardizem, Nitro, insulin, and heparin
• Handle high volume of admissions and discharges with average stay up to 48 hours
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips required
• Any scrub color allowed
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
