Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday requirements
• Nurse to patient ratio: Days/PM 1:4 or 1:5, Nights 1:5 to 1:7
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be placed on low census call with 2-hour minimum callback
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License and BLS
• Minimum 2+ years Med Surg experience required
• Recent hospital experience and Trauma level II experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Equipment used: Epic EMR, Rovers for medication scanning, Alaris pumps
• Scrubs: Any color acceptable
• Work in fast-paced post-surgical unit averaging 10-15 admissions per day
• Unit maintains 90-95% occupancy with average length of stay 2-3 days
• Must demonstrate ability to multitask, prioritize patient care based on acuity, and work as part of a team
• Contractors must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
