Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM
• On-call Saturday nights
• Every weekend schedule with no weekend RTO requests
• Every other holiday as needed
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• May be required to float to other facilities including Merrill, Antigo, Medford, and Stanley
• Required certifications: ARDMS certified in OB/GYN & ABD, AHA BLS
• Minimum 2+ years experience required with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB experience
• Experience with pylorus, appendix, and possible fetal brain from NICU required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• High school diploma required, Associate degree or certificate preferred
• Perform approximately 10-12 exams per day using 4 Philips EPIQ Elite ultrasound units
• Conduct general ultrasound exams including abdomen, small parts, GYN, and OB including fetal anatomy scans
• Strong emphasis on OB procedures preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent imaging skills with strong attention to detail
• Team player who provides quality patient care and communicates effectively

The facility features a comprehensive ultrasound department with 4 modern Philips EPIQ Elite units and maintains separate specialized departments for Echo/Vascular services and Breast Health Center. I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
