RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract with 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Overtime pay after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be placed on low census call with 2-hour minimum callback pay
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• Must pass EKG test in first week of hire
• Minimum 1 year strong cardiac experience (Cardiac SDU/Intermediate Cardiac/Cardiac ICU)
• 2 years IMC/PCU/Telemetry experience required
• Must have experience with Amiodarone, Cardizem, and Nitro drips
• At least one completed travel assignment required
• 1 year recent EPIC charting experience required
• Patient ratio typically 1:4
• Care for post-op CABG/valve, thoracotomy, vascular, arrhythmia, CHF patients
• Handle post-procedure catheterization, pacemaker, defibrillator, and ablation patients
• Manage acute chest pain/MI and medical/surgical overflow cases
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Must wear mask at all times if declining flu and COVID vaccination during flu season
