RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week over 13-week contract duration
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
• Can be placed on low census call with 2-hour minimum callback pay
• Patient ratio of 4:1
• Work with stable, weaning ventilators/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, ortho trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke patients
• Handle primary patients and insulin drips
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility location
• 2+ years experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience mandatory
• ICU and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be able to work independently in fast-paced environment
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Clinical interview required for position
