RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week with overtime after 48 hours worked
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back pay
• Work on Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) unit, caring for adult patients only
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 during days, 1:6-7 during nights
• Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, urinary tract disorders, sepsis, wound care, and infectious disease processes
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS (AHA or ARC)
• Minimum 2 years experience required, trauma level II experience highly preferred
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, flexibility, and positive attitude
• Ability to manage independently and collaborate effectively with team members
