RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVICU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of facility
• Weekend requirements: every 2-3 weekends (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)
• Holiday requirements: every other holiday
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, primarily critical care and acute care clusters
• Optional call pickup permitted with 1-hour response time requirement
• Patient ratios: 2:1 for CRRT patients, 1:1 for Impella patients
• Care for 12-bed cardiac ICU patients including post-op hearts, AMI, cardiogenic shock, and induced hypothermia
• Perform frequent cardioversions, line placements and discontinuations
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• CCRN certification preferred but not required
• Minimum 2 years cardiac experience with skills in Swan-Ganz catheters, IABP, and post-op cardiac care
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must be able to work independently, manage tasks timely, and adapt to change
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census time with possible on-call placement
