RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts: 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week for 10-week contract
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Can be low censused and put on call with 2-hour minimum call back
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Patient ratio of 1:4 to 1:6 during PM shifts, 1:8 during night shifts
• 12-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Primary cases include stroke, trauma, debility, amputation, and cardiac patients
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN license, AHA or ARC BLS
• Minimum 1 year medical surgical rehab experience preferred or medical/surgical background
• Inpatient hospital setting experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Rehabilitation knowledge required
• Must be located outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Mask required at all times during flu season if declining flu and COVID vaccination
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
