RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment with 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 8-hour variable shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, and 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• On-call responsibilities: 6-8 weeknights and 1-2 weekends during contract with 30-minute response time
• Must be ready and in the OR within 30 minutes when called back
• Call back minimum is 2 hours
• Float to other facilities including Aspirus Merrill, Aspirus Langlade, Aspirus Medford, and Aspirus Stanley if needed
• Work on general OR team handling 40-60 cases per day with an average of 45
• Support 21 operating rooms across all specialties
• Circulating required, scrubbing preferred
• Experience with DaVinci Robotic procedures required
• Must have experience in general surgery, GYN, urology, plastics, ENT, and GI procedures
• Required to perform downtime tasks when needed
• Must have own vehicle for on-call responsibilities
• 5+ years OR experience required with at least 1 travel assignment
• Experience in larger facility with comparable 20+ ORs required
• Trauma Level II experience required
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, Wisconsin RN License
• Epic charting system preferred
• Any scrub color acceptable
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Must comply with flu season mask policy if unvaccinated
