Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts including 7:00 AM-7:00 PM, 11:00 AM-11:00 PM, 3:00 PM-3:00 AM, and 7:00 PM-7:00 AM
• 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Must be willing to float to alike units within skillset and to Aspirus Stevens Point, Plover and Divine Savior locations
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Minimum 2+ years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS
• Associate degree (ADN) or Bachelor's degree (BSN) in nursing required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Patient ratios: maximum 5 patients on days/evenings (average 4), maximum 7 patients on nights
• Work on 40-bed medical/surgical/pediatric unit with average daily census of 28 patients
• Must demonstrate ability to work independently, manage change well, and maintain positive attitude
• Professional-colored scrubs required
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours
• During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times per facility policy
