RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour variable shifts: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
• Shift rotation occurs every week or every two weeks
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week
• 13-week contract length
• Every other weekend schedule (weekends are Friday-Sunday)
• Every other holiday rotation required
• No blocked scheduling requests or travel pairs with same schedule requests accommodated
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, potential to float to other south region locations including Stevens Point, Plover, and Divine Savior
• No on-call or call back responsibilities
• Patient ratio of 4:1 in 8-bed Intermediate Care Unit
• Care for patients with telemetry monitoring, stable sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleeds, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injuries, and strokes
• Manage primary patients and insulin drips
• Fast-paced unit requiring ability to work independently and complete tasks timely
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS, ACLS
• Required experience: 2+ years stepdown/intermediate care/PCU experience
• At least one completed travel contract preferred but not required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Any color scrubs accepted
• Must be hard-working, resilient, and manage change well
