RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Pre Op

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour variable day shifts with start times ranging from 5:00 AM to 7:00 AM
• 40 guaranteed hours per week (except during orientation week and holidays when unit is closed)
• 13-week contract assignment
• No float requirements
• No weekend, holiday, on-call, or call-back requirements
• Minimum 5+ years of nursing experience required
• Bachelor's degree required
• Required certifications: Wisconsin or Compact RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and AHA PALS
• Epic charting experience required within the past 2 years
• Provide pre-operative care for general surgery patients including orthopedic, general, urology, gynecology, and neurology procedures
• No cardiac surgery cases
• Maximum nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:1 to 1:2
• Work with 15 pre-op bays, 10 Phase 1 bays, and 14 Phase 2 bays
• Must provide own solid matching scrubs (tops and bottoms)
• Candidates must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Medical compliance must begin within 48 hours of accepted offer (24 hours for quick starts)
