RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 13-week contract assignment with ASAP start date
• 12-hour day and night shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Guaranteed 36-48 hours per week (minimum 36, up to 48, overtime after 48 hours)
• Float team position rotating between observation unit, cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab, and transitional care unit
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Patient ratios: Day shift 1:4, PM shift 1:4 or 1:5, Night shift 1:6 occasionally 1:7
• Must have 1-2+ years medical/surgical experience
• Experience with venipuncture and Cardizem required
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred within past 2 years
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart), Active RN or Compact license
• NIHSS certification preferred for submission, must complete before end of orientation
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Dress code: No bright colors or character prints
• Must start medical compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Must reside outside 50-mile radius of facility
