RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day/night variable shifts with flexibility required
• Every weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float team position covering observation unit, cardiac unit, medical unit, surgical unit, ortho/neuro unit, inpatient rehab and/or transitional care unit
• Guaranteed 36-48 hours per week (minimum of 36, up to 48 with overtime after 48 hours)
• 13-week contract assignment
• Patient ratios: Day shift 1:4, PM shift 1:4/1:5, NOC shift 1:6 occasionally 1:7
• Required certifications: BLS (American Heart), Active RN or Compact license, NIHSS
• NIHSS certification preferred for submission, must complete prior to end of orientation
• Minimum 1-2+ years Med/Surg experience required
• Must have experience with venipuncture and Cardizem
• Epic charting experience strongly preferred within past 2 years
• 8-hour unbillable orientation required
• Scrub colors: No bright colors or character prints
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Associate degree or certificate required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• No on-call or callback requirements
