RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM with no evening shifts
• Saturday call shifts from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM for inpatient studies only
• Mandatory telemetry and cardiology experience required
• Responsible for performing stress testing in the Heart and Vascular Institute
• Conduct plain treadmill, nuclear stress, and stress echocardiogram testing
• Learn and implement stress testing protocols
• Start IVs and administer Definity contrast agent
• Work with cardiologists onsite who read all studies and are present for dobutamine stress testing
• Collaborate with Nuclear Medicine Tech onsite for all nuclear stress testing
• Perform both inpatient and outpatient stress testing
• Work in combined stress and echo lab with RNs and cardiac sonographers
• Use GE Ventri nuclear cameras and Epic software for reporting
• No stress testing performed on weekends
