Description
Opportunity:
RN - NICU
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day/night rotation shifts with respectful scheduling to allow adjustment time between opposite shifts
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week for 13-week contract
• Every 3rd weekend and every 3rd holiday requirement
• No on-call or callback requirements
• Must have 5+ years as an RN with 3+ years of NICU experience required
• Transport experience is mandatory - hard requirement
• Required licenses: WI RN, IA RN, and MN RN (all must be permanent licenses, no temporary accepted)
• Required certifications: AHA BLS and NRP
• Preferred certifications: AHA PALS, STABLE, and CNPT
• Associate Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Care for critically ill or premature newborns (22 weeks gestation and greater)
• Perform bedside procedures including starting IVs, medication calculations and administration
• Conduct neonatal resuscitation
• Participate in air and ground transports with Neonatal Transport Team (approximately 4 transports per month)
• Support patients and families in end-of-life care
• Scrub color requirements: Navy blue bottoms with white or black top
• Must start medical compliance within 48 hours of accepted offer or 24 hours for quick start

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
