RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts
• 72 guaranteed hours per week (biweekly)
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• Float to critical access hospitals as needed, rare float to ED units
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Work independently in critical access hospital setting
• Care for general med surg, pre and post-op patients, and outpatient infusion/injection patients
• 10-bed unit with normal day shift ratios of 2-3:1, may flex up to 4-5:1
• Must have 2+ years medical surgical experience and previous telemetry experience
• Must be able to interpret telemetry strips
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, AHA BLS, ACLS
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Solid color scrubs required
• 8-hour unbillable orientation
• Must start medical compliance within 48 hours of offer acceptance
• 13-week contract length
