Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 5 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule
• Must be willing to take 1-2 on-call shifts per schedule
• Float to offsite emergency departments when needed
• Work in 73-room emergency department plus 24 hallways seeing approximately 350 patients daily
• Level 1 trauma center environment requiring strong emergency department experience
• Must have at least Level I or II trauma level experience
• 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CPI
• EPIC experience and previous travel experience highly preferred
• Handle stroke, STEMI, and trauma cases
• Medically clear psychiatric patients for admission (no holding psychiatric patients)
• Work with security support available in emergency department
• No separate fast track area - non-acute patients seen in non-acute side of ED
• May use sitters for suicidal patients
• 1 major and 1 minor holiday requirement
• EPIC access required
