Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Flexible hours with ability to accommodate schedule preferences
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday expectations: 1 major, 1 minor
• First to float if census drops to Medical, Surgical, or Observation Unit
• Work on 36-bed telemetry unit with patient ratios of 1:4 on days and 1:4 on nights
• 3-day floor orientation provided
• Care for patients with CHF, stroke, sepsis, cardiac dysrhythmias, pneumonia, rule-out cardiac, pain management, and observation status patients
• Handle PCU/observation patients and inpatient surge when needed
• Required certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS, NIHSS
• 1 year PCU experience and telemetry experience required
• EPIC experience required
• Dress code: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, jackets must be solid navy blue or solid white, long sleeve shirts under scrubs must be navy or white
• Support from 5 techs, resource RN, and charge RN out of staffing
