Opportunity:

RN - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Holiday expectations: 1 major, 1 minor
• Flexible hours with ability to accommodate schedule preferences
• First to float if census drops to Medical, Surgical, or Observation Unit
• No on-call responsibilities
• Work on 36-bed telemetry unit with 1:4 patient ratios on both days and nights
• Support staff includes 5 techs, resource RN, and charge RN out of staffing
• 3-day floor orientation provided
• EPIC experience required
• Required certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ACLS, NIHSS
• 1 year PCU experience and telemetry experience required
• Care for patients with CHF, stroke, sepsis, cardiac dysrhythmias, pneumonia, rule out cardiac conditions, pain management, and observation status patients
• May also care for inpatient surgeries when surging
• Dress code: Navy blue pants with solid navy blue or solid white tops, navy blue or white jackets allowed, long sleeve shirts under scrubs must be navy or white
