Opportunity:

RN - ED

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 5 weekend shifts required in 6-week schedule
• Must be willing to take 1-2 on-call shifts per schedule
• Must be willing to float to offsite emergency departments when needed
• Float to ECCs (Emergency Care Centers) as required
• 2 years of emergency department experience required
• Must have Level I or II trauma center experience
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC, and CPI
• EPIC experience and previous travel experience highly preferred
• Work in 73-room emergency department plus 24 hallway spaces
• Handle approximately 350 patients per day
• Provide care for stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients
• Medically clear psychiatric patients for admission
• Work with security support and sitters for suicidal patients
• No separate fast track area - non-acute patients seen in main ED
• Holiday requirement: 1 major and 1 minor holiday
