Opportunity:

RN - CVOR Scrub and Circulate

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour shifts with various start times: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, 9:00 AM-7:30 PM, or 6:00 AM-7:30 PM
• Primary responsibility is scrubbing with circulating duties as needed
• Weekend rotation per department need
• On-call requirements: 1-2 weekdays per week and 1-2 weekends per 6-week schedule (approximately 1 weekend per month)
• Holiday requirements: one major summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day) and one winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas) per department need
• Must have 3-5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Experience required with coronary artery bypass, aortic aneurysms, AVR's & MVR's, TAVR's, ECMO, VAD's (adult required, pediatrics a plus)
• Must be able to multitask and apply critical thinking skills
• Participation in ongoing research protocols
• Required certifications: BLS (must be AHA), CNOR preferred
• Epic access required
• Overtime may be necessary
• Must demonstrate excellent communication skills and be a team player
• Participate in professional activities of the department
• Floating expectations within scope

• Must add any requested time off to end of contracts for full 13 working weeks
