RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - CVOR Scrub and Circulate

Job Details:

• Work 13.5-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Primarily scrubbing with circulating responsibilities
• Weekend rotation based on departmental needs
• On-call requirement: 6-10 shifts in 6 weeks including approximately 1 weekend per month
• Holiday requirements: one summer holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day) and one winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas)
• Must have 3-5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Experience required with coronary artery bypass, aortic aneurysms, AVRs & MVRs, TAVRs, ECMO, VADs
• Adult experience required, pediatrics is a plus
• Must be able to multitask and apply critical thinking skills
• Participation in numerous ongoing research protocols
• Required certifications: BLS (must be AHA)
• CNOR certification preferred
• Overtime may be necessary
• Epic access required
• Floating expectations within scope of practice
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration required
