RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM with orientation during day shift before transitioning to nights
• No weekend requirements
• On-call expectations: 4 times per week with transfer of care coverage from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM
• Holiday requirements: 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day) and 1 winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas)
• 3-5 years recent circulating nurse experience required in complex cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases
• Experience required with coronary artery bypass (primary and redos), aortic aneurysms, AVR's & MVR's (primary and redos), TAVR's, ECMO, VAD's
• Adult experience required, pediatrics experience is a plus
• Must demonstrate ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills
• Participate in numerous ongoing research protocols
• BLS certification required (must be AHA), CNOR certification preferred
• Overtime may be necessary
• Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player
• Participate in professional activities of the department
• Floating within scope of practice
• Epic access needed
