RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - CVOR Scrub and Circulate

Job Details:

• Work 13-hour shifts from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Must scrub and circulate with primary focus on scrubbing responsibilities
• 3-5 years recent scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic and vascular cases required
• Experience with coronary artery bypass (primary and redos), aortic aneurysms, AVR's & MVR's (primary and redos), TAVR's, ECMO, and VAD's required
• Adult cases required with pediatrics experience preferred
• Weekend rotation based on departmental need
• On-call requirements: 6-10 shifts in 6 weeks including approximately 1 weekend per month
• Floating within scope of practice as needed
• Holiday requirements: 1 summer holiday (Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day) and 1 winter holiday (Thanksgiving or Christmas)
• Must add any requested time off to the end of contract for full 13 working weeks
• Epic access required
• Required certifications: BLS (must be AHA), CNOR preferred
• Must demonstrate ability to multitask and apply critical thinking skills
• Participation in ongoing research protocols
• Overtime may be necessary
• Excellent communication skills and team player mentality required
