Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM with call and holiday responsibilities
• Day shift schedule with flexibility required to meet department needs
• Must be dependable, accountable, and cooperative
• Perform CT scans and technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Set up equipment and position patients for imaging procedures
• Adjust technique to ensure lowest possible radiation dose while maintaining image quality
• Verify proper physician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review CT images for clinically acceptable results before releasing patients
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Demonstrate competency with venipuncture and power injection operation
• Maintain sterile technique and understand pre/post procedural care
• Complete patient charging activities and documentation requirements
• Take call when necessary and assist other technologists as needed
• Required certifications: ARRT Radiography, ARRT Computed Tomography, BLS
• Graduate of AMA approved School of Radiology Technology required
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required
• Less than 1 year experience in CT preferred
• Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environment
