Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work weekend shifts Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 20-hour workdays
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures according to department protocols
• Verify proper physician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Position patients appropriately and ensure proper identification markers are used
• Review CT images for clinically acceptable results before releasing patients
• Maintain competency with venipuncture and power injection operation
• Respond to emergency situations and assist with life support equipment maintenance
• Demonstrate sterile technique and pre/post procedural care
• Transport and position patients, assist with getting on and off procedure table
• Apply radiation shielding and immobilization devices as needed
• Maintain equipment calibration and report malfunctions promptly
• Complete all studies in RIS and PACS systems immediately after completion
• Take call when necessary
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS
• Must have accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 1 year experience in radiology required
• Less than 1 year CT experience preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
