Opportunity:

Cat Scan Tech - Cat Scan Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shift Thursday/Friday/Saturday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Perform CT scans and technical procedures requiring independent judgment
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Maintain competency with venipuncture and power injection operation
• Demonstrate proficiency in sterile technique and pre/post procedural care
• Adjust technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality
• Clean and maintain equipment according to infection control policies
• Transport and position patients, assist with on/off procedure table
• Complete patient charging activities and maintain productivity standards
• Take call when necessary
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required
• Must graduate from accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure in fast-paced environment
