Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work four 10-hour shifts with various call shifts including weekends and holidays
• On-call requirements per unit needs
• Minimum every other weekend required
• Minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays required
• Must have CVT experience in Cath Lab with 1 year minimum
• EP and Peripheral experience preferred but not required
• Must maintain current BLS/ACLS certifications
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Registered CVI Specialist certification preferred
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Operate specialized equipment in monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating roles
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures
• Work with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and cardiologists
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures
• Transport patients as needed and provide post-procedural care instructions
• Maintain departmental records and stock levels
• Participate in cath or EP call rotation once oriented and competency verified
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• GED or Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree in Health Science preferred
• One year of relevant medical setting experience may substitute for formal education
