Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call requirements: 15 shifts per 4 weeks
• Friday through Sunday call: 1 to 2 per month
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Training provided to assist during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Assist physicians during procedures and operate specialized equipment
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures
• Function in monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating roles
• Work with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and cardiologists
• Prep and educate patients for procedures
• Provide post-procedural home care instructions
• Transport patients as needed
• Maintain stock levels and complete necessary paperwork
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (within 180 days if not obtained upon hire)
• Associates in Health Science or Accredited Program in Radiologic Science preferred
• Medical setting work experience preferred
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Participate in call rotation once appropriately oriented and checked off
