Opportunity:

Cat Scan Tech - Cat Scan Tech

Job Details:

• Work Saturday/Sunday/Monday shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Must be dependable, accountable and cooperative
• Perform CT scans and diagnostic imaging procedures according to department protocols
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Position patients appropriately and ensure proper identification markers are used
• Review CT images for clinically acceptable results before releasing patients
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Demonstrate competence with venipuncture and power injection operation
• Maintain equipment and perform quality control tests
• Transport and assist patients on and off procedure tables
• Complete patient charging activities on day of service
• Take call when necessary
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required
• Less than 1 year CT experience preferred
• Must complete accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Must maintain competency in anatomy, pathology, and radiation protection
