Opportunity:
Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech
Job Details:
• Work day shift with 3-12 hour shifts
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Take call when necessary
• Required certifications: ARDMS - Registered Medical Sonographer or ARRT-S - ARRT Sonography
• Required certifications: BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - American Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
• Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Trade School Diploma/Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
• Perform wide variety of ultrasound procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Review ultrasound images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Position patients and operate all work stations associated with ultrasound department
• Maintain quality control logs for probe disinfection and follow infection control policies
• Transport patients, restock supplies, and maintain department cleanliness
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate procedures and equipment operation
• Must exhibit excellent communication skills and work effectively in stressful, fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize appropriately and multitask throughout work shift
• Must be dependable, accountable, and cooperative team member

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
