RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ED Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Must be available to work various days of the week
• Required to work minimum every other weekend
• Required to work minimum 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Required certifications: BLS (upon hire), RN license (upon hire), PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 18 months), ACLS (within 180 days)
• Associates, Diploma, or Bachelors degree in Nursing required
• Must demonstrate teamwork and collaboration in interdisciplinary environment
• Participate in evidence-based practice, research, and performance improvement activities
• Complete mandatory education and professional competency assessments
• Function effectively in fast-paced emergency environment with ability to respond to emergencies decisively
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills essential
