Description

RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - ED Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Must be available to work various days of the week
• Required to work minimum every other weekend
• Must work minimum 2 major and 2 minor holidays
• Complete 2 twenty-four hour call shifts in an 8-week period
• Associates degree in nursing or diploma in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS, RN license (single state or compact), PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 18 months), ACLS (within 180 days)
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care in emergency department setting
• Perform nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews
• Complete all mandatory education and professional competency assessments
• Ability to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills essential

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
