RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - ED Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Must be available to work various days of the week
• Minimum every other weekend required
• Holiday requirements: minimum 2 major holidays and 2 minor holidays
• Two 24-hour call shifts required in an 8-week period
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred
• Required certifications upon hire: BLS, RN license, ACLS (within 180 days), PALS (within 180 days), TNCC (within 18 months)
• Associates, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
• Perform comprehensive nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Coordinate delivery of safe quality patient care and complete timely documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews
• Must be able to function in fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies decisively
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills required
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills essential
