Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 15 hours per 4 weeks, Friday through Sunday
• Train to assist physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic invasive cardiovascular procedures
• Function in monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating roles
• Work with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and cardiologists
• Maintain sterile technique during procedures
• Prepare and educate patients for procedures
• Operate specialized cardiovascular equipment safely and efficiently
• Transport patients as needed and provide privacy and comfort
• Complete necessary documentation and maintain departmental records
• Maintain stock levels and equipment preparation
• Participate in cath or EP call rotation once oriented and competency checked
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS within 180 days of hire
• Minimum 1 year of medical setting experience required
• High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in health science preferred
• Basic knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, patient positioning, and radiation protection required
• Knowledge of electrocardiography, cardiac anatomy, and physiology preferred
