Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work night shifts Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Minimum call requirement of every other weekend
• Contract position through June 6th
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Perform CT scans and wide variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgment
• Set up equipment to provide imaging services and position patients for procedures
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Maintain competency with venipuncture and power injection operation
• Demonstrate sterile technique and pre/post procedural care
• Adjust technique to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality
• Complete all studies in RIS before completing in PACS
• Transport and position patients, apply shielding and immobilization devices
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience required, less than 1 year CT experience preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environment
