RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Acute Care Inpatient

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Function as a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team providing individualized, high-quality patient care
• Practice within a clinical environment supported by the Shared Governance Model
• Implement the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care adapted to population-specific characteristics
• Partner with patients and families using bedside shift reports and interdisciplinary rounds
• Coordinate delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care
• Complete initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor for other professional nurses and staff
• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and performance improvement activities
• Must maintain Georgia RN license and uphold Professional Nurse Practice Act standards
• Required to follow American Nurses Association Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics
• Participate in data collection and clinical quality improvement initiatives
• Support efficient use of human and material resources
