RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice
• Provide relationship-based patient centered care adapted to diverse populations and cultural characteristics
• Coordinate safe quality patient care delivery and documentation
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside shift reports
• Complete timely documentation and maintain respectful clinical environment
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities
• Complete all initial and ongoing professional competency assessments and mandatory education
• Serve as preceptor and mentor for other nurses and healthcare staff
• Participate in evidence-based practice, nursing research, and data collection activities
• Plan patient care across the care continuum and support efficient use of resources
• Required certifications upon hire: BLS, RN license (single state or compact)
• Required within 180 days: PALS and ACLS
• Required within 18 months: TNCC
• Must have strong computer skills, interpersonal and customer service abilities
• Ability to function in fast-paced emergency environment and respond to emergencies decisively
• Excellent time management and critical thinking skills required
