Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cat Scan Tech - Cat Scan Tech

Job Details:

• Work Thursday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM with call responsibilities
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology required, less than 1 year CT experience preferred
• Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology education required
• Perform CT scans and technical procedures requiring independent judgment and initiative
• Verify proper clinician orders and obtain complete clinical history
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review CT/radiographic images for clinically acceptable results
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Demonstrate competence in age-appropriate patient care and procedures
• Maintain equipment calibration and perform quality control tests
• Transport and position patients, assist with procedure setup
• Complete all documentation in RIS and PACS systems
• Must exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure while participating in team environment
• Must be detail-oriented with capacity to multitask effectively
