Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Cath Lab Technologist - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM schedule with four 10-hour days
• On-call requirement: 15 shifts per 4 weeks
• Friday through Sunday call: 1-2 shifts per month
• Minimum 3 years experience in interventional special procedures required (IR, cardiac, or vascular hybrid setting)
• At least 2 years cath lab experience preferred
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Function independently during procedures after appropriate orientation and competency demonstration
• Required certifications: ARRT-CV, ARRT-R, ARRT-VI, or RCIS, plus BLS certification
• ACLS certification preferred
• High School Diploma, GED, or Accredited Program in Radiologic Technology required
• Must be flexible with hours to meet departmental needs
• Assist with providing safe, age-appropriate patient care
• Perform procedures in IR, Vascular Hybrid, and Neuro-interventional settings
• Work in conjunction with radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists
• Prepare patients, supplies, and equipment for procedures
• Demonstrate understanding of sterile technique and radiation protection
• Maintain current license and BLS certifications
• Complete competency requirements and participate in staff training
