Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shift Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Take call minimum every other weekend
• Must be flexible with work hours to meet department needs
• Perform CT scans and assist with providing safe, age-appropriate patient care
• Obtain quality diagnostic studies using proper techniques and equipment
• Position patients for procedures and set up imaging equipment
• Administer contrast media following established procedures
• Review CT images for clinically acceptable results and release patients
• Respond to emergency situations and maintain life support equipment
• Demonstrate proficiency with power injection equipment
• Maintain competency with venipuncture procedures
• Complete all studies in RIS before completing in PACS
• Transport patients and assist with positioning on procedure tables
• Required certifications: ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), BLS
• Must have completed accredited program in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 1 year experience in radiology required
• Less than 1 year CT experience preferred
• Must demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in fast-paced environment
