Radiology Technician - Radiology Technician

Job Details:

• Work in orthopedic office environment specializing in orthopedic radiology with focus on spine procedures
• Maintain professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers
• Verify patient identification using two identifiers and ensure correct procedures are performed
• Greet and assist patients with appropriate attire for procedures and thoroughly explain procedures
• Select appropriate technical factors based on body habitus, pathology, and body part positioning
• Verify all images cross over successfully into PACS and maintain high quality standards
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of imaging equipment and maintain attentiveness during procedures
• Perform all radiological exams including X-Ray, DXA, all Fluoro and OR exams, Portables, and CTs
• Maintain acceptable completion times and demonstrate good time utilization through productivity
• Complete annual training and demonstrate age-specific care for patient population served
• Required certifications: South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA), American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), and BLS certification
• Must complete initial orientation and training to perform all exams without assistance
