RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts on Medical Surgical/Telemetry (Surgical/Ortho Unit)
• 48 guaranteed hours per week required (will not accept 36 hours)
• 8-week contract length starting ASAP
• Every other weekend/holiday required unless given time off approval
• Float requirements include Med Surg/Tele units and all in-patient areas
• May be tasked as an aide if other units need assistance
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• Patient ratio: 1:6 with 15-45 beds depending on unit assignment
• Must have 1 year RN experience in specialty and Level I or Level II Trauma experience
• Required certifications: Kentucky/Compact RN License, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS
• EKG test required during compliance process
• Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
• Care View/EPIC charting experience preferred, will train on-site
• Scrub color requirement: black
• Associate Degree or Certificate required
• Must be hard worker, resilient, manage change well, social, reliable, and team-player
• 75 mile radius rule applies
