Opportunity:
RN - Med Surg
Job Details:
• Work 8-hour mid/PM shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 40 hours per week
• Every other weekend requirement with holiday rotation
• Float to other facilities including Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital, Mukwonago, and similar units as needed
• No on-call or call-back requirements
• 53-bed medical-surgical unit with 1:7-8 patient ratio possible
• 3-5 years medical-surgical experience required with at least one travel contract preferred
• Experience with insulin and cardiac drips required
• Must be able to read telemetry monitoring
• EPIC charting experience required within last 12 months
• Experience must be from short-term acute care hospital setting
• Required certifications: BLS, Wisconsin or Compact nursing license
• Associate degree or certificate required
• Any scrub colors acceptable
• Must complete required CBLs prior to starting (unpaid)
• Must be hard worker, resilient, adaptable to change, social, with strong documentation skills
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment required

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
