RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Stepdown

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Patient ratio of 4-5 patients on night shift
• Float to Oconomowoc Memorial and Mukwonago like units as needed
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Required certifications: WI or Compact RN license, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, NIHSS
• Must have current Epic charting experience within 12 months
• Minimum 1 year cardiac experience and 2+ years medical-surgical experience required
• At least 1 completed travel contract preferred
• Must be comfortable with rhythm interpretation and familiar with cardiac care
• Care for patients including open heart surgical, arrhythmia, chest pain, cardiac procedures, heart failure, and acute MI patients
• Unit also sees sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, and medical overflow patients
• Will accept ICU RN if comfortable with stepdown patient ratios
• Must have short-term acute care hospital experience
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
