Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work on a 36-bed medical/surgical unit providing 24/7 nursing care
• Patient population includes adolescents (17 years and older) to geriatric patients
• Patient-to-nurse ratios of 1:5/6
• Float assignment required
• Fast-paced environment with potential for different patients throughout shift
• Care for patients with general and surgical needs including general surgery, colorectal surgery, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, urology, women's health, gynecology, plastics, ENT, trauma, cardiothoracic, orthopedic, and spinal/neuro overflow
• Provide care for women with obstetrical issues including intra-uterine fetal demise, preeclampsia, hyperemesis, substance abuse withdrawal during pregnancy, and diabetic pregnancies
• Must have 2+ years of recent med/surg experience
• Epic experience within the last year required
• BLS certification required
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing required
• Solid black scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days of requested time off accepted
• Block schedules not accommodated
