Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10 hour shifts from 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule required
• Operate Computerized Tomography and Radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic CT scans and radiographs
• Work under indirect supervision to ensure patient records are processed properly
• Evaluate images with Radiologist and take additional images as needed
• Assist with invasive procedures
• Primarily CT Tech role but will also be responsible for X-Ray duties
• Equipment used includes Canon CT and Rad X-ray
• Trauma Level 1 experience preferred
• Graduate of A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology required
• Must be registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Must be licensed as a Radiographer by the State of Ohio
• One year Radiology Technology experience preferred
• CT Registry preferred
• CPR certification required
• Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment, position patients, and administer IV contrast
• Ability to lift and position patients with heavy physical demands (50-100 pounds occasionally)
• Must effectively communicate with patients, physicians, and hospital staff
• Ability to utilize computer systems for patient record management
